Breakfast was served at 7pm and lunch at 12 noon. We spent today looking out the window, reading, watching films and TV or listening to music. This train is a copy of airline business class. It arrived in Cairns 10 minutes early at 3:55pm. We pulled our trolleys to the Coral Tree Motel and met up with Phil and Brig Ellis, who had arrived on the Spirit of Queensland yesterday. We went down to the Esplanade and had a delightful dinner with them.
